It was a wonderful time spent with family and introducing Grampi Ray to Granddaughter Emily.  We celebrated her first birthday and also had her christened, all in one big celebration that was a bit exhausting for Dr. Ray and I as we were “gifted” with the task of blowing up 70 balloons for the “arch” at the baby gift table. (no pumps provided!)

We got a serious fill-up of grandkid time and now that travel is a little more open, we will be going to see them sometime soon.

Meanwhile, here in Michigan, time is accelerating into the final stretch of the year(Good Grief Lucy where did the time go?)

I just placed letters on our front desk for our Annual Food Bank Fundraiser.  This is an event that is special to us, for which we usually get great support.  Helping others is always a good feeling!
